I bought a few new books from Amazon.ca and I received them today! Yippy. I’m actually looking forward to reading these because I just love reading about the paranormal and related things. So which books did I buy? Three of them to be exact. They are:
- “End of Days” by Sylvia Browne
- “Ghost Stories of Ontario” by John Robert Colombo
- “Ghosts Among Us: Uncovering the Truth about the Other Side” by James Van Praagh
Here is a photo of the three books that I received today.

I don’t even know which one I should start reading first. Maybe the one called “Ghosts Among Us” since it’s by the co-executive producer of the tv show Ghost Whisperer which is one of my favourite shows on the air.
One of my favourite talk show hosts, Montel Williams, has a new book that is coming out. It’s called Living Well. This book is suppose to be really good if you want to change your life and live well. I’m looking forward to getting my own copy of it soon when I purchase some books this month. It costs less than $20 which is absolutely great!!
So when do you purchase new books? Do you purchase them right away or do you wait awhile? I personally read about books I’m interested. Then write them down. Then I purchase books in a bundle at least once a month.
So say I have five new books I want, I’ll wait until the middle of the month or the week after to purchase them all at once. That way I have them whenever I want to read instead of having to wait awhile to get them. I find this method a lot better than buying books one at a time whenever they are released.

I am currently reading this book. I must say it’s rather interesting so far. The only thing I’m not sure about is whether or not I actually believe anything that is written in this book about Nicole Brown. It seems that OJ is painting a rather bad impression about her and I can’t tell if it’s true or not. Then again, I never knew the real Nicole, only from what I’ve heard and seen on the news.
I’m almost reaching chapter six where he talks about what happened that horrible night. This probably is going to sound really bad, but I’m actually looking forward to reading his depiction of what happened that night. The beginning chapters have just been about his relationships and arguments he had with Nicole. It just gives you a sense of what was the problem in his life and how their relationship went sour.
If you have always wanted to know how OJ thinks, then I suggest your buy the book or even borrow it from your local library. It really does give you an insight into his corrupt world.
I read this book about a month ago, and I must say it was fabulous!! It gave a great insight in the life of one of Hollywood’s most famous women, Anna Nicole Smith.
I first heard about the book when they were doing a segment on Anna Nicole Smith on the Montel Williams show. Rita Cosby promoted her book and gave some shocking details on the show. She made quite the impression because after watching the show, I quickly went to Amazon.ca and purchased a copy. I’m glad I did!
I never really understood what Anna Nicole Smith’s life was about. The only thing I knew about her was that she was a playboy bunny once, then got fat, and then she suddenly got very skinny. I didn’t know about her love life, family life, and her personal problems. Who knew that finding all this information would actually be entertaining?
When I got the book, I read it from front to back over the weekend. It really was that interesting especially when it talked about Daniel’s death (Anna’s son). Then the information about Howard and Larry being gay lovers really made me laugh. Then sadly, near the end, where it talked about the events that lead up to Anna’s death.
After reading the entire book, I do think that Howard played a primary role in her death. Anyone who reads the book can clearly come to that point. There is just so much shocking information in the book that I suggest everyone go out and get a copy of it even if you aren’t a fan of Anna’s. It will really answer lots of questions you have from all the media coverage you saw on the news.
5/5 stars
I’m already falling behind in updating this blog. Sorry…I’ve been really really busy and my nephew was born just the other day. So it’s been kind of hectic at my house and I haven’t had the opportunity to come online much.
Talking over with my sister, she mentioned that she was glad she had purchased a book in the beginning of her pregnancy that helped her understand what her body was doing throughout the pregnancy. This book is by far one of the best and most popular books that pregnant women turn to.
What’s the title? It’s “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” by Heidi Murkoff. So if you or anyone you know is expecting a child right now, this book is a must have!! What perfect timing to give this book as a gift because Christmas is shortly approaching.
