A few weeks ago I finally picked up a book to start reading it. The only problem was that I couldn’t find a bookmark anywhere!! It drove me absolutely insane. So instead of running over to my local bookstore, I ended up just looking on Ebay.ca for bookmarks with tassels because those are my favourites.

Of course I found some I really liked and they were dirt cheap!! About $1 something each which is wonderful since at my local bookstore they are about $5 each. So of course I snagged up a bunch of them. I gave one to my sister because she asked for it and I had bought six anyways. Here is a photo of four of them. I couldn’t take a photo of all six because a) gave one to my sister and b) one is in my book. LOL!

Can you tell I haven’t updated this blog in such awhile? It’s definitely been a few months at least. The reason? Just too busy in my everyday life. The worst part is that I have no more time to pick up a book and read it. I’m not even sure which book I left off with. How sad is that? … I know… lol.

Anyways…hopefully I’ll get a chance in the next few days to go over which books I had bought from Amazon.ca and haven’t read yet. Then I’ll pick out a new one and try to finish it all. Only really interesting books I’ll read in a matter of days. The rest, well…they can take awhile if you know what I mean.

So I’ve added yet another book to my library. Of course this one is the holiest of all as it’s the new revised standard version of the Holy Bible.

You might be thinking why did I buy one? Well, I noticed that I didn’t own a copy myself that I could call my own. The bibles in our house either belonged to my parents or my older sister. I wanted one for myself, so I ended up buying one.

I even ended up taking photos of the bible. You can see them below.

One of my favourite talk show hosts, Montel Williams, has a new book that is coming out. It’s called Living Well. This book is suppose to be really good if you want to change your life and live well. I’m looking forward to getting my own copy of it soon when I purchase some books this month. It costs less than $20 which is absolutely great!!

So when do you purchase new books? Do you purchase them right away or do you wait awhile? I personally read about books I’m interested. Then write them down. Then I purchase books in a bundle at least once a month.

So say I have five new books I want, I’ll wait until the middle of the month or the week after to purchase them all at once. That way I have them whenever I want to read instead of having to wait awhile to get them. I find this method a lot better than buying books one at a time whenever they are released.
